I am Shanker Maharjan, Founder and Director of SAM AUDIO VIDEO PRODUCTION, with over 30 years of professional experience in videography, photography, television production, and digital media preservation. Since beginning my career in 1995, I have dedicated my life to capturing meaningful stories, documenting history, and preserving priceless memories through the power of visual media.
Throughout my career, I have served as Camera Chief at Channel Nepal Television, Nepal’s first satellite television network, and have also worked as a professional cameraperson for AROHAN and Nepal Mandal Television. Over the years, I have collaborated with numerous national and international organizations, including UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, FAO, Save the Children, the American Red Cross, HELVETAS Nepal, GTZ, MEDEP, and many other government, corporate, and development partners. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in documentary production, corporate films, television programs, training videos, event coverage, and commercial photography.
